Privacy policy

This policy explains what Roofolio ("the app"), operated by [שם המפעיל / החברה], collects about you, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: support@example.com.
1. What we collect
• Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash), or your Apple or Google sign-in identifier. • What you enter: properties, prices, costs, rents, leases (including tenant names, if you choose to enter them), mortgages and expenses. • Subscription status: whether and until when you're subscribed, as reported by Apple, Google and RevenueCat. We never see or store card details. • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and error logs, kept to run and protect the service.
2. Why we use it
To provide the app and keep your portfolio in sync across devices; to manage your account and subscription; to answer support requests; to keep the service secure and fix problems; and where the law requires it. We don't sell your data and don't use it for advertising.
3. Who processes it
Your data is stored with our hosting and database providers, emails are sent through our email provider, and subscriptions are handled by Apple, Google and RevenueCat. Each processes data only on our behalf, under its own security obligations. Some of them operate outside Israel.
4. How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account (Settings → Account), your data is removed from the live service at once and from backups within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep (such as payment records).
5. Your rights
Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law (and the GDPR, where it applies) you may ask to see, correct or delete your data. You can export everything yourself as a file from Settings and delete your account there at any time. For anything else, write to support@example.com.
6. Other people's details
If you enter details about other people, such as tenants, make sure you're allowed to, and enter only what you need.
7. Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored as hashes, and every request is checked against your account so no one else can read your portfolio. No system is perfectly secure; if you find a problem, tell us at support@example.com.
8. Children
The app is meant for adults (18+) and isn't directed at children.
9. Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
